Fire Retardancy Test for Fluted Panels | Riverbit Product Testing

At Riverbit, product quality is not only about appearance, material performance and safety are equally important.

In this product testing series, we conducted a fire retardancy test on our fluted panel sample to observe how the material reacts when exposed directly to flame.

Testing the Material Under Direct Flame

During the test, the Riverbit fluted panel sample was exposed to direct flame and did not immediately ignite. For comparison, another panel sample was tested under similar conditions and caught fire much more quickly.

Although different fluted panels may look similar on the surface, their material composition and performance can vary significantly when tested under actual conditions.

Why Fire Retardancy Matters

For wall panels and interior finishing materials, fire behaviour is an important consideration, especially when selecting materials for residential, commercial, or renovation projects.

Product testing helps customers better understand the characteristics of different materials beyond their appearance, including how they perform when exposed to heat and flame.

See the Difference Through Product Testing

At Riverbit, we believe customers should be able to make informed decisions based on more than just design and colour. Through our Product Testing Series, we demonstrate and compare the practical characteristics of our products in real testing scenarios.
